We are back and this is the Garrett Barrett!
This morning we read a book. Then we did spelling words and we wrote them down on the SMARTboard. We had a competition.... the competition was if the kids get ahhhhh... he he he heh eh hehhe..... one word right then they get a minute of time to do whatever we want! And we lost a word because I got it wrong then Mr. Keil took it away from us and he got a minute. In the end we won 9 minutes because we are sooo smart!
After spelling we worked on our speeches and literacy circles. Then we had recess. At recess I cried because I wanted to stay in school... no that is not what I did at recess.... After recess we did a test on reading and writing. I don't know how I did. Then we ate lunch. I ate a dinasour for lunch. At lunch we had computer clubbbbbbbnbbbbbb... today I made a movie and Axel deleted some of my pictures ! I cried. Then the pictures that I had were X's.
After computer club we went in and worked on our Math. Then we choose our team for the Olympics!!!! I am CANADA ! Then we worked on drawingggggg towns. Then we had recess. I drank some chocolate milk. And there is another chocolate milk in my desk... ewwwww.
Now we are in music and gym! The chocolate milk did not taste bad.
I am a gummi bearrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!.

Homework:
Math - page 123 - question 3 and 4
Some students need to finish up Social Studies - Chapter 1 - the kids should have brought home an early settlers book.
Speeches - we have set the date - next tuesday is the day for rough drafts. We present Monday February 15.
Literacy circles are due on Friday morning.
Spelling test - friday. Words are: Europeans, courage, explorers, experiment, trading, different, measuring, diseases, perimeter, contagious
